TEHRAN Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stressed the durability of the Resistance school of thought, a motion late Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani substantially shaped.Tehran hosted an event commemorating the legacy of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani on Tuesday, where a plaque of gratitude and a ring belonging to the late leader were presented to Foreign Minister Araghchi by the household of Martyr Mohammad Hossein Hadadian.The occasion belonged to the fourth annual ceremony devoted to acknowledging managers and staff dedicated to the concepts of General Soleimanis vision.He noted that despite ongoing challenges, including military strikes and political pressures, the ideology stays unfaltering and continues to grow.
The blood of martyrs, Araghchi remarked, is a weapon in the hands of the Resistance.
It can not be extinguished by military strikes or bombings.
General Soleimani, revered for his leadership in combating terrorism, especially against the Daesh (ISIS) group in Iraq and Syria, was assassinated on January 3, 2020, in a U.S.
drone strike near Baghdad International Airport.
The strike, purchased by then-President Donald Trump, sparked global condemnation and highlighted Soleimanis influence throughout the region.
Araghchi likewise praised Martyr Soleimani for changing the Resistance motion into a concrete force opposing Western hegemony and Israeli aggressiveness in the region.Addressing the broader Resistance Rront, he asserted that acts of assassination and aggression would just enhance its resolve, as evidenced by the withstanding spirit of Hezbollah and its leaders.
